Rani Singh reports on the religious tension in Ayodhya, India and Cyclone Bulbul in Bangladesh. The Indian Supreme Court ruled that the holy site of Ayodhya should be given to Hindus, who believe it is the birthplace of Lord Ram. Muslims also claimed this land but will be getting a new plot to build a Mosque. 20 people died and millions were displaced as the 120km/h cyclone hit Bangladesh, causing severe damage. Rani Singh reports on the unbearable levels of air pollution in India, specifically in Delhi, causing poor visibility throughout the city due to the smog. Breaking News Report: Fire in Dhaka, Bangladesh, 18th August 2019
Rani Singh reports on the fire in Dhaka, Bangladesh which started in 2019. The fire began when a gas cylinder exploded in a traffic accident, which triggered fires in nearby warehouses containing further gas cylinders. 80 people died and a further 50 were injured. This tragedy was followed by questions as to the safety of how chemicals were stored in Dhaka. For BBC 5live’s Up All Night.

Rani Singh reports on the riots following India revoking the autonomous status of Kashmir. The riots started on the 5th August and are currently ongoing. Rani Singh BBC News Channel – demolition of Osama Bin Laden’s Pakistani compound, 25th February 2012
Rani Singh was first into a studio for the BBC News Channel with the breaking news story about the demolition of Osama bin Laden’s compound in the garrison town of Abbotabad, Pakistan, in the evening of 25th February 2012.
The compound was systematically destroyed by Pakistani security personnel who used bulldozers to clear the site after blocking all roads leading to the three-storey home of the most wanted man in the world, who was killed by US Navy Seals in May 2011.
